Davicoms in Oman. Completion of Radica’s installation of Davicom telemetry systems in the Sultanate of Oman adds to the many countries around the world taking advantage of the advanced remote monitoring capabilities. Each of the three AM broadcast sites, radiating between 100kW and 500kW of power, is fitted with Davicom units which bring back site information to a master control room. All aspects of the site are monitored including transmitters, satellite receivers, generators, air conditioning, ATUs, back-up power, alarms, temperature and humidity. The Davicom uses SNMP, ModBus and parallel GPIO to monitor and control site equipment.
